Andrea is a long time Sayulita local, logging almost 20 years full time in Mexico. Her approach to movement encourages playfulness and curiosity, drawing from lineages of hatha, yin, restorative, and vinyasa with a foundation in biomechanics.
Andrea completed her 300 hour yoga certification online with Jules Mitchell in 2022, studying biomechanics, somatics, pain science, and restorative yoga. She received her 200 hour certification from Narayani of Paraiso Yoga in Sayulita (2018), and her 50 hour Yin Yoga certification from Maria Abad of Paraiso Yoga (2023). Most recently, she has trained with Jim Gallas to offer guided qigong practice in the tradition of Wai Dan Gong. Andrea has practiced yoga since 2002.
Andrea’s passion is her family. She is happiest at her jungle retreat in nearby San Ignacio with her husband, 2 kids, 3 dogs and 3 cats, where she loves to cook, bake, and listen to audio books. She and her man Gabbi also love to rock out in their local punk band, Los Gatos Negros de Sayulita.
I have been fortunate to study and practice with exceptional teachers in Sayulita and around the globe. I honor each of them in my practice and my teaching.
